Most carpentry failures are not failures of craft. They are decisions made before the framing crew arrives: footings that do not reach frost depth, flashing skipped because it takes an extra hour, siding nailed over sheathing nobody looked at. All of it is closed up and invisible by the time the house looks finished. We came off ships where nothing got signed off that couldn't be inspected first, and we build the same way: toward passive home standards, with high-performance assemblies where they earn their cost. Lead-safe and DEP certified.

Detached garages, storage buildings, and agricultural structures.
Siding & exterior
Housewrap and flashing detailed before any siding goes up, so water that gets behind it has a way back out.
Decks
Ledger flashed to the sheathing and post footings set below frost depth.
